Building Trust Together
At Cornerstone Learning Hub, being outside and connected to nature is an important part of how we learn and grow. Through activities like group yoga and balance exercises, our students from preschool through elementary build teamwork, trust, and confidence while supporting one another. Working together helps our kids strengthen both their bodies and their sense of community.
Hands on Science
Our students love learning science through hands-on experiences that make it fun and meaningful. With small class sizes, our kids have time to ask questions, explore, and learn closely with their teachers here at Cornerstone Learning Hub.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
At Cornerstone Learning Hub, we believe field trips should be meaningful and enrich what our students are learning. Experiences like this art lesson give our kids the chance to explore, create, and learn in real-world settings. We’re proud to offer hands-on learning opportunities that help our students grow and discover new interests.
Fire Safety in Action
The INL Fire Safety Trailer gave our students a hands-on experience in fire safety practicing safe exits, staying low, and using a fire extinguisher. We love bringing in experts to help our kids learn important safety skills in a fun, interactive way.
Where Learning Comes to Life
At Cornerstone Learning Hub, we believe the best learning happens when students can see, touch, and experience the world around them. This year, we loved taking our students to Soda Springs, where they tasted natural soda water and watched a geyser erupt, bringing our Idaho history studies to life in the most memorable way. From hands-on field trips to outdoor adventures, we thrive on giving our students meaningful experiences beyond the classroom, connecting learning with nature, curiosity, and discovery.
Inspiring Young Artists
At Cornerstone Learning Hub, art is an essential part of how we learn, think, and express ourselves. Through a mix of guided projects and opportunities for creative freedom like chalk art students are encouraged to explore their ideas, build confidence, and make each piece their own. We believe art is about imagination, individuality, and giving every child the space to create in their own unique way.
Teamwork, Learning and Community
Watching our students work together to make the ball roll down the wall was amazing. They figured it out as a team, encouraged each other, and had so much fun along the way. Field trips like this show the heart of our school learning, laughing, and growing together.
Cooking Around the World
Our students had so much fun making Asian noodle soup as part of our social studies lesson. Cooking together gave them a chance to explore a new culture, taste something different, and enjoy learning in a hands-on way. These are the moments they love discovering the world, one bite at a time.
Sunshine and Play
Our elementary and preschool students enjoyed playing and laughing together outside in the sunshine. At Cornerstone Learning Hub, we know how important recess and outdoor time are, and we love taking learning and play beyond the classroom whenever we can.
A Fancy Feast
Our elementary students got to enjoy a home-cooked, six-course meal dressed in their best attire. It was a fun and memorable five-star experience, filled with delicious food, laughter, and learning about manners and etiquette. Each student even got to take home a special glass to remember this special evening together.
Story Time in the Sunshine
Whenever we can, we take our stories outside. Reading in the fresh air makes us feel happy, grounded, and connected. Our backyard becomes the perfect spot for quiet moments, imagination, and essential time outdoors that our students love.
